    The Everglow

        i was kind of reading through a couple entries back,
    and i have decided that my entries are pretty short..
    so how am i suppose to reference back to them in the
    future when i reminisce?

        january has been absolutely perfect, i actually started
    doing my homework at home, and 2nd tri grades are
    looking pretty happy, very happy. who would have thunk it.
    everyones turned 16 and i think that is very cool. look at how old
    we are. and there is only 2.5 years until i graduate from highschool;
    thats the shortest amount-of-time-until-i-graduate ever.

        my science teacher is looney, i think half the stuff she says is made up, but shes very cool. she has 3 snakes in her classroom and feeds them rats during class while putting a video camera on it so it shows on the big overhead. it is pretty interesting, however the rats are already dead and frozen so there isnt much of a fight.
        my math teacher is cool, he just started teaching this second tri and that is a 'just started teaching - ever'. he was an aerospace engineer and quit that to become a teacher. he knows a lot of stuff, and most of it is pretty interesting, when he realates it back to some aerodynamic parachute he made for a missile or something of that nature.
        my english teacher is amazing. she cares about us a lot. a lot lot lot. she is very smart too; always using some large vocabulary word that i probably should know because it was on of the classical root words we had to learn, but never do and end up asking anyways. the books we read, while i see them pointless, are interesting if you actually read them and participate in the activities she has prepared for them. i have decided that not everything has to be "un-fun." I am also glad that in my english  classes, it is really easy to make new friends, like way easy. everyone is of genuine good character and we all get along. unless we're having group discussions, then we argue until our deaths. for a grade. nikki is my new english friend and im very glad. we listen to our favorite songs during that class, and sometimes dance.
        Photography has deffinitely picked up in part B. I really like looking at all the famous photographs and learning who took them and where, why when and all that. especially, i like to hear all of mr grimms crazy analogies that he made up to help us remember. not to mention i like picture taking in general. it is also easy to meet people in photography. especially people who will become long-term aquaintences; if not friends. here are some of my personal favorites of mine, that are mine, even though theyre small. I cannot wait for my 'special' photo assignment. it will be the happiest one i have ever done

        kara came home from her expedition to beaumont with her roomate. her roomate was a wrestler. she is freaking cool, yo 8]. I'm glad that kara got a roomate that she is similar to, and has become good friends with. I dont have to worry about getting a weird roomate because im rooming with landry so i already know. I mean, its probably like rooming with a weird person but this way i already know him so im immune to his weirdness. :p kara left for college again but she was like hey lets take a picture together and i was like, hey that sounds like a cool idea considering i'll never live with you again in my life and nothing will ever be the same but hey, what can i say. so we did and some of them were weird, and some of them were extremely weird. while some were just hysterical. in anyway, im glad that i have them. and i will keep them forever. beause everyone needs a laugh. 2 of them are my profile picture.

        I went to travis' birthday party and im glad, because i havent seen him or any other of those harwood band kids in a long time. it was fun seeing them. I even met some more new 8th graders will be perfect band additions my senior year. i am thrilled about life okay?

        and guess what else. i have a new favorite band. I dont even know if its a "new" favorite because i dont think ive ever had a favorite band before. it is definitely mae and i find myself listening to them, and only them. they are way ahead of anyone else on my playcount and i think they are the best thing ever. my favorite songs are all pretty much theirs. im really glad/happy that kara introduced me to them. for now, my favorite song is 'the everglow' and i suggest that everyone listens to them all the time. now when i hear other songs like 'the pussycat doll' stuff or something like that, i appreciate mae even more because i think that they are a truer sense of music. and i also learned this week that mae stands for multi-sensory aesthetic expirience. i thought that was cool, even if you dont .

        I am getting really excited about band banquet, even though its a little/long ways off. that was a just for the record kind of statement. I'm impressed at how nice it was last year, and i hope that we start funraising soon so that it can be really nice again. I can also not wait for the florida trip with band. I'm glad that all of our friends and stuff are going with us. it will be a fun spring break. =]. and yet again, i cannot wait for marching to start. even though it just ended, and i cursed my way through it, i miss it. it will be happy days when i exhaust myself everyday in the summer heat once again.

        I have an early morning sectional tomorrow. I am only up late because i fell asleep at six this evening and woke up at 11 =/. my little sister has a friend spending the night, and im suprised because its a school night and i didnt think my dad was that cool, but what can i say i guess he out does himself all the time :p. im not tired, and can already tell that tomorrow will be a very tired day for corey. all well though, i like that i will have this extra time to study for our english test and keep my 'very happy' grades up. I hope that you guys have a wonderful week.
